Photo credit: Nicolas ValdésLeo Williams is an artist and writer from Miami, Florida. He received an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of New Mexico in 2024 and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014. His writing has appeared in The Florida Review, Sinking City, South Side Weekly, and elsewhere. He is an alum of the 2021 Tin House Summer Workshop and is a 2024/2025 Fulbright Bulgaria English Teaching Assistant Awardee.
His visual art has been exhibited internationally in galleries and at festivals such as Access Gallery (Vancouver, Canada), FlatEarthFilmFestival (Seyðisfjörður, Iceland), and Images Festival (Toronto, Canada).
He is working on his first book-length project.
